Notes for Finishing on Goat Skin - Our Chieftain, Pentland Goat, Hand Grain, Fair and Rough Goats all lend themselves well to the application of metallic, pigmented and genuine gold foils, Gold Leaf and to Blind Tooling. However, due to the finish that we apply to our Smooth, Glazed and Embossed Goats, Gold Leaf and Blind Tooling can not normally be applied by the end-user. Alum Tawed Goat can only have Gold Leaf applied to it.
