I will hold off on reviewing this item (which looks very well built) until SOMEONE supplies me a proper set of instructions:

- You first have to set the letters into the typeholder using your quads and spaces, to space the letters correctly. - It is important to ensure the marks (lines) on the body of the type are all facing the same way as this indicates the correct orientation of the type. - You place the letters into the typeholder back to front so that they read in reverse. - When you come to use the holder, the mechanism should be facing downwards so therefore the letters should be placed in the holder accordingly. - Tighten the two screws (the one on the outside first) and the type will be centralised in the type holder - There is a slight slope on the holder to allow easy visual positioning. - Place the holder onto a stove ensuring that the wooden handle is clear of the heat and therefore does not burn. - It is important to practice using the tool on scrap pieces of material, whether they be cloth, paper or leather. - There are three factors that have to be considered when applying the impression: Heat, Pressure and Dwell Time. These will vary depending on the different substrates and the foil you may be using.
