Goat hide for book binding project. July 8, 2021 Reviewer: Bret Ward from Waterdown, ON Canada   I might be a novice when it comes to book binding, however I am fairly skilled when it comes to purchasing products for my business. With only a short time invested in researching a hide and skin supplier for a personal project of mine, J Hewit & Sons Ltd displayed a strong professional presence right from the start. It was easy to navigate their web page. I would have preferred to visit their facility, unfortunately I live in Canada and as their shop is in Scotland. My purchase went smoothly, my parcel was delivered promptly and packaged in a very sturdy shipping tube (even the clumsiest of postal workers would find it difficult to damage this)! I had received correspondence throughout the transaction with notification of my purchase status. Once unpacked my initial response was (wow does this leather hide smell good). Lovely leather December 9, 2019 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from LaSalle, ON Canada   This lovely leather.  The colour is beautiful, the texture / grain is nice, and there were virtually no flaws in the skin.  The size of the skin is, however, a bit smaller than most of the skins I have purchased from Hewit.
